Adani Mormugao Port Terminal Pvt. Ltd. (AMPTPL) Terminal is a fully mechanized coal handling facility capable of handling Panamax and capsize vessels. AMPTPL is a strategically located coal terminal on the South West coast of India. The terminal has an annual import capacity of about 5 million metric tons. The terminal features a mechanized material handling system with conveyor systems and stacker-cum-reclaimers, enabling efficient coal handling.
AMPTPL has a 30-year agreement with Mormugao Port Authority, Vasco Da Gama, Goa, to design, build, operate, finance, and transfer the port operations. MPA has allotted them Berth No. 7 for handling Coke and Coal, which is been used by Goa Carbon Ltd for handling its consignment. Goa Carbon handles almost all shipments at Adani terminal which is approx. 40 kms from our plant.

Our Plant at Paradip is around 8 kilometres from Paradip port which is a major port on East Cost of India. Paradip Port is located in the Jagatsinghpur district of Odisha, at the confluence of the Mahanadi River and the Bay of Bengal. It was commissioned in 1966 and is the first major port on the East Coast established after independence. The port is managed by the Paradip Port Trust (PPT), a statutory body under the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963. Paradip Port has handled over 100 million tonnes of cargo.

The Company has also developed a need based access to the New Mangalore Port, strategically located approximately 330 kilometres south of our Goa Plant, plays a pivotal role in our logistics and supply chain operations. This port, previously managed by the New Mangalore Port Trust (NMPT), has now been leased to JSW for operations and maintenance.
